UberX More Expensive than UberBlack?!
On a recent trip to LaGuardia airport, I decided to request an Uber and noticed that there was surge pricing from Manhattan to LaGuardia airport. However what was interesting was that it appears only UberX was surging, and UberBlack was the regular price, meaning that an UberBlack ride was actually $9 cheaper than UberX.

UberBlack offers a luxury experience with high-end black cars, whereas UberX is the lower end affordable, everyday rides as Uber describes.
If you still haven’t tried Uber yet, you can still get a credit towards your first ride here or your credit can be applied to your UberEats order instead.
