America Express is opening their latest Centurion Lounge at Charlotte Douglas International Monday, February 24th. The lounge is located at the intersection of Concourses D & E, mezzanine level, making it accessible airside to all gates at CLT. The newest lounge is open daily from 5:30am-10pm.
Both cardholders of the Platinum Card® from American Express, and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express are able to access the lounge and can bring in two guests with them each time. You can view more about the Amex Global Lounge Collection Overview for Platinum Cardholders.

American Express announced that The Centurion Lounge at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) will open on Monday, February 24, 2020, marking the company’s 11th location within its iconic Centurion Lounge network.
As the seventh busiest airport in the world and with more than 46 million travelers passing through, Charlotte Douglas International Airport will host one of the largest Centurion Lounges to date spanning more than 13,000 square feet. The new Centurion Lounge location will welcome Platinum Card, Centurion and Delta Reserve Card Members and their guests to redefine their pre-flight experience with top of the line amenities and a premium dining menu curated by James Beard semifinalist and local Charlotte Chef, Joe Kindred. The new location will be located post-security on the top floor of the airport’s newly expanded area called “The Plaza,†situated between Concourses D and E.

Ummmm…fact check Amex? Charlotte airport is not the 7th busiest airport in the world.
According to 2018 figures, it is the 37th busiest airport in the world (by passenger volume).
According to the published 2019 half year figures, it did not even make the top 30.
At first I thought it might be a typo – “World vs. US” – but it is not even in the top 10 for US airports in terms of passenger traffic.
