Chase Ultimate Rewards is offering a 30% transfer bonus to British Airways Avios now through December 9, 2020. With this bonus, you’ll now receive 1,300 British Airways Avios per 1,000 Chase Ultimate points. You must be logged into your Chase Ultimate Rewards account to view this offer.

British Airways offers great redemptions for short-haul flights on American Airlines, so even if you’re not thinking of taking a flight to the U.K. anytime soon, you may want to consider as an option for domestic flights.

Unlike American Express, it’s uncommon to see many transfer bonus from Chase Ultimate Rewards. However, with the pandemic impacting travel, I’m sure both British Airways and Chase are looking for ways to have cardholders transfer and use points.

Despite Chase not offering menu transfer bonuses in the past (last month we saw: Chase 20% Transfer Bonus to Southwest Rapid Rewards), I’m optimistic that we’ll start seeing some more bonuses being offered at least in the near future.

With this promotion, Chase is also offering the 30% bonus the other Avios partners Aer Lingus and Iberia Plus. Additionally, this promotion is hard coded into your account so there’s no need to register for this offer and you’ll receive the bonus points once the transfer has been completed.
