Delta Air Lines will be restoring inflight beverage service onboard its flights tomorrow. During the last year, the airline only was offering bottled water, and more recently added beer and wine in First Class and Comfort +.
Here’s a look of the inflight beverages as of April 14, 2021:
Starting April 14, 2021, you’ll see a whole lot more onboard in terms of beverages in all cabins. Delta will be bringing back Coca Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite, Ginger Ale, Tonic Water, Club Soda, Orange Juice, Cranberry Juice, Bloody Mary Mix, Starbucks Coffee, and Hot Tea.
In addition to the current wine and beer offerings, Delta will be bringing back Finlandia Vodka, Jack Daniels, Bombay Sapphire, and Woodford Reserve. New canned cocktails making a debut include Tip Top Old Fashioned and Margarita.
Additionally, in early June, customers flying in Delta One or First Class on select domestic coast-to-coast flights will see hot food options return, and First Class customers on other key U.S. routes will enjoy fresh boxed meals beginning in early July.
For Medallion members with drink coupons, these have been extended. 2020 Medallion drink coupons have been extended through July 31, 2021. Those extended status were also given new drinks coupons which expire Jan 31, 2022. You can access all of these in the Fly Delta app under the My Wallet section.
It’s been a full year with no cocktails onboard Delta, so I’m thrilled to see liquor coming back to all cabins tomorrow. Feel free to share your thoughts below.
With the CDC finally admitting that surface transmission isn’t really a thing (of course the WH tried to keep that information from seeing the light of day) Are we ready to concede that most of the “safety” measures were bullshit all along?
Delta resumes *limited inflight beverage service. Looks like coffee is still toooooo dangerous.
And Chris nails it. Time to stop with the needless promotion of “high grade disinfectant” nonsense. Get the vaccine or don’t. Wear a mask…or don’t. It’s time to end all this health theatre and get back to normal
can’t wait to see this as we are traveling tomorrow
