The first phase of the new Delta Sky Way at LAX opens in just over a month, and to help the airline prepare for a successful opening, Delta is looking for volunteers to assist to try out the new terminal.
You can apply through the Delta Sky Way Operational Readiness Trial Volunteer Survey and if selected will need to be able to participate on Wednesday, March 30, from approximately 2:00 – 5:00pm. It doesn’t appear that there is any monetary compensation for volunteering.
Per the survey,
Trial operational readiness of the Delta Headhouse ahead of opening this Spring to ensure Delta’s operations are smooth and safe and the facility is passenger-ready. Volunteers will behave as typical Delta guests departing from and arriving to the airport and will be processed through Check-in, Security, and Baggage Claim.
All participants will meet at a designated location and be bused to and from the terminal. Participants will be briefed on the day’s activities and provided with a script of their individual role throughout the trial on arrival.
Once the first phase of the new Delta Sky Way at LAX opens next month, Delta passengers will enter through a new headhouse in Terminal 3 with consolidate locations for check in, security and baggage claim. Delta’s new Sky Club at LAX, over 30,000 feet with an outdoor Sky Deck is also planned to open next month.
