Marriott Bonvoy announced its newest global promotion where members can earn up to 4,000 bonus points per stay starting with their second stay. This is valid for stays from September 21 through December 15, 2022.

• Marriott Bonvoy members can register now through December 1 to earn 2,000 bonus points after completing an eligible stay at participating hotels starting with your second stay. Stays must be completed from September 21 through December 15, 2022.
• Plus, Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card holders can earn an additional 2,000 bonus points for each eligible stay at a different hotel brand during the promotional period, starting with the stay at the second brand. Stays must be completed during the promotion earning period.
• Redeem your bonus points for free nights, unrivaled Marriott Bonvoy Moments™ experiences, and so much more. Some hotels and resorts may have mandatory service charges.

This promotion is valid only on paid stays, so award stays will not count. If you’re planning to travel during this time, you’ll want to register.

In order to maximize this promotion, you need to be a Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card, which earns you the additional 2,000 bonus points per stay. Any Marriott card will count including both personal or business American Express and Chase cards.

I will note that all Marriott proprieties are participating, as I’d imagine it’s being funded by corporate rather than the individual property. We’ll sometimes see Marriott properties opting out of promotions, but that’s not the case here.

This promotion will be most lucrative on one night stays, since the bonus points on a per stay basis, not nightly.
