MGM Resorts and Marriott have a launched a new partnership which should be going live in early 2024. In terms of elite members, Marriott Bonvoy members will get limited elite benefits when staying with MGM, and they’ve announced the lackluster details of this partnership.

Of the 17 MGM resorts that will join MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, four properties will also be affiliated with existing Marriott collection brands:
- Bellagio Resort & Casino will join The Luxury Collection,
- ARIA Resort & Casino will join Autograph Collection,
- Park MGM will become part of Tribute Portfolio
- The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will continue its affiliation with Autograph Collection
Other MGM Resorts will join the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy.
Bottom Line
MGM Resorts has announced the benefits that Marriott Bonvoy members can expect to receive when staying at MGM Resorts, and with the exception of Ambassador Elite members, all these benefits seem pretty weak. Even as a Titanium member all I’d expect is 1,000 bonus points or a $15 nightly food/beverage credit, as the room upgrades and 2pm late check-out are both subject to availability, and given how busy Las Vegas is, I’d bank on these more often not being available.
Additionally, thoughts and prayers on having your Marriott Bonvoy points correctly to your account. Over the past several years, anytime I’d stay at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, it was always a hassle to call Marriott 10 days after the stay to open a case into why the points didn’t post, so hopefully with this new partnership, it’s more seamless.

I really enjoyed the Hyatt partnership. I am looking forward to the Rio re branding and hope can avoid dealing with anything that says Marriott on it.
Thanks for sharing such a nice blog. I have recently visited Marriott and enjoyed it very well.
