I recently started staying at Hilton properties more regularly. To accumulate points faster I requested to be fast tracked to Hilton Honors Diamond status.
The reason I switched some of my stays over is there is a really nice Hilton property in the city where we are taking an upcoming trip and I needed to top off my account. Plus there are two decent promotions going on at Hilton, the Delta promotion, and the 10,000 Hilton Points promotion.
How to Request Fast Track
I called the Hilton Honors help desk and simply asked if there was any fast track offer for Diamond status and motioned I had some upcoming stays I’d like to move to Hilton. They offered me Diamond if I stayed 21 nights in a 90 day period.
Now I earn all the perks of Hilton status with only 21 nights.

I am going to be staying at Hilton hotels this year.
I earned Diamond status in 2010 (more than 60 nights at the Barbados Hilton while working on a project in the Caribbean). This lapsed in 2011 (I was working in Dubai and staying at a Southern Sun property) and lapsed further in 2012 (I stopped traveling). However, I have just started travelling again. I started on 13 May and I’ve already had 15 nights in a Hilton. I’ll have 28 nights by 22 June and will continue to stay at Hilton hotels through to August (maybe September). I’ve already taken advantage of a fast-track to Gold this year, so I’m very interested to read about this potential fast-track to Diamond. I’ll try to get a Diamond Challenge from the Hhonors Help Desk and will report back if I’m successful.
Just spoke to an agent – very similar experience to mxevans. 2010 had all my stays in Asia was at Diamond. In 2011 I had 3 stays before moving to the US. Have had no stays since. I have 10 nights coming up in August and September and am looking for a FT to Diamond or Gold.
Do you get diamond status during the challenge period?
