Nothing better than a juicy filet mignon and some cocktails at 35,000 feet. It is even sweeter when you are seated in American’s new first class 757 product.
Here are some highlights from the DFW to SEA trip on American Airlines.
Drink
We started strong with a double Absolute and club soda. The drink service was spectacular and the drinks flew through the entire flight.
Food
The food options consisted of Halibut, Chicken or Filet. We went for the red meat. The filet mignon was cooked a perfect medium and the sweet potatoes were tasty.

Shirt button hole. Makes for an easy, yet elegant bib!
The hole is for using your napkin as a bib by buttoning the napkin to the highest button on your shirt. Otherwise you could tuck your napkin in your collar or attach your napkin to a set of clips that go around your neck like the dentist uses. Any of these methods will help keep your shirt and tie clean and stain free.
The purpose of the hole is to attach the napkin to your shirt collar so that you have a bib to protect your clothes. The other choice is to tuck the napkin around your neck and allow it to drape over your clothes. Either way, you get maximum shirt protection. We only use paper napkins at home, so there is no hole and tucking in is the only choice.
