US Airways has come out with a targeted offer for folks who have the US Airways Premier World MasterCard where they can earn up to 15,000 miles over the course of 3 months by meeting spending thresholds on the card.
It Works Like This
Cardmembers who spend $750 or more each month from September 1, 2013 through November 30, 2013 will earn 15,000 bonus miles.
- September – Spend $750 or more
- October – Spend $750 or more
- November – Spend $750 or more
- 6-8 weeks later = 15,000 US Airways Dividend miles
I picked up the US Airways Premier World MasterCard the last time I applied for credit cards because the bonus Dividend miles will likely become American Airlines AAdvantage miles after the merger. In addition, I’ll receive an annual companion pass and a 5,000 mile discount per award ticket.
Terms And Conditions
- Offer is valid for select cardmembers and is not transferable. You will earn 15,000 bonus miles after you charge over $750 in net retail purchases (purchases that are not returned or rescinded) each month from September 1, 2013 through November 30, 2013. If you do not spend over $750 in any of the 3 months of the promotion you will not be eligible for any bonus miles as part of this offer.To receive your bonus miles, your account must be open and in good standing. Purchases made during periods when your account is delinquent, your balance exceeds your credit line or your account is otherwise not in good standing as defined in your Credit Card Cardmember Agreement do not qualify for this offer. Your bonus miles will appear on your statement up to 6-8 weeks after the end of the promotion. Net retail purchases do not include such things as the purchase of money orders, traveler’s checks, foreign currency, lottery tickets, gambling chips, wire transfers, person-to-person money transfers or using the account to obtain a cash advance.
- Primary cardmember is responsible for all authorized user transactions.

I’ve participated in this offer in the past. FYI: It can take time for the 15k miles to post so be patient. I heard that the miles post more quickly if one puts a small charge on the card on the 4th month, but I can’t confirm whether that is true.
I participated in the same promotion for April-May-June. The points post on your second statement after the promotion ends.
Now I’m wondering whether I can SM them to participate again!

I got the same offer late last year and took 2 billing cycles (after meeting the spending requiremetn)for 15K to get posted in my account.
got the same offer for July – September, but have minimum spend requirements on other cards so this took a back seat.

Is there anyway to get targeted for this offer? I’ve had the card for 2 years and never been targeted! I called once and requested it, but I could only get 2500 miles for less spend

I’ve been targeted in the past, but not this time. I currently have 5x at grocery stores up to 2500 bonus miles. Hopefully I’ll get the 15k offer again soon!
Do you have to do anything to let them know you want the promo? I saw the offer, but there wasn’t anywhere I could see to click to sign up. Is it like the promotions you have to register for?

Don’t get too excited over the companion pass. You receive two of them with your welcome packet, but they cannot be split; gotta use ’em both, at the same time, and then your companion pays $99 along with your PAID ticket, no award tickets allowed. Receive 2 companion passes, but if you only have one companion, the 2nd pass goes to waste.

Any idea whether the purchases have to actually post in those months, or just be made in those months. I forgot to use the card until the end of October (used it on October 30), but it didn’t post until November 2nd.
