One of Delta’s benefits for Medallion members is rollover miles in which you rollover any additional MQM’s you earn each year over the required threshold.
Typically these rollover MQM’s post shortly after the new year, but this year it took them a little longer and it appears that they have finally started to post. Mine just posted today, however it was backdated to January 1st.
According to this Flyertalk post, they have already posted for Diamond and Platinum Medallions, while Gold and Silver Medallions should expect them shortly.
As a reminder, Delta is continuing to sell Medallion Qualifying Miles for those members who are trying to reach Diamond, Platinum, Gold, or Silver Medallion status for 2014 through January 31st however at some very steep prices with the most going for 10,000 MQM’s for $1,995.
If you’re looking for a way to rack up the Delta SkyMiles, the Delta Reserve card gives 10,000 MQM’s and 10,000 SkyMiles after the first purchase. The Platinum Delta Amex gives 35,000 bonus SkyMiles plus 5,000 MQM’s after spending $1,000, and the Delta Gold Amex gives 3o,000 bonus SkyMiles 5,000 after spending $1,000.
Have you’re rollover MQM’s posted yet?
