Just logged into my account today and noticed this huge nugget of miles appeared. My balance had taken a hit recently due to booking 5 First Class seats on the same plane, but this 100,000 miles certainly helps pad the account back up.
This is the result of apply for, receiving and meeting the minimum spending for the Citi Executive® / AAdvantage® World EliteTM MasterCard® 100,000 American Airlines mile offer.
What a great offer…100,000 miles just like that into my account!

I’ve already hit the 10k spent but I have not paid off the last 5,000. The credit card bill is due in about 25 days. When should the 100,000 points be posted? After I pay off my bill?
My 100,000 miles posted after I paid off the bill from the previous cycle. I always pay off my credit cards in full each month. So can’t comment if a partial payment will trigger the 100,000 bonus miles.
Can anyone confirm?
Are any of these cards available for Canadian residents?
Good stuff. Looking forward to meeting my minimum spend and getting my hands on 110K AAdvantage miles.
going for a second card soon. many have 2 and are going for 3 😉
I would assume that the miles would post regardless of if you paid it off or not because they appear on your credit card statement when it closes (before the due date). That’s great that they posted so quickly… I’m still waiting for my wife’s miles to post from her business card 2 months ago! My Exec statement closes tomorrow so we’ll see how long it takes for them to post.
75k posted to my account a day or two after my statement closed. A week later I got the 100k match approval letter. Now, just waiting for the 25k to post. Assume it will be when the second statement closes.
@Delta Points and anyone else who knows, are you paying the $450 annual fee more than once or cancelling before it hits?
Statement closed still no points. How long did it take for your points to post?
About 13 days.
@Heather – would not cancel no matter what. $250 for 110,000 points is well worth the price!
Agreed Rene, but do you just hold multiple cards with the fee?
@heather – just for year 1
