Bottom Line:

Kimpton Karma Inner Circle offers some great perks, and many Inner Circle members I’ve talked to have told me about many suite upgrades they get.

Another great benefit, is that Inner Circle members receive a complimentary night at all the new properties, so depending on how many new hotel openings a year, these could really add up.

When it comes to free nights, earning a free night after 7 stays is reasonable as well as the two free nights after 10 unique stays through the Kimpton Journey process.

Are there any Inner Circle members out there?

  1. I used to be Inner Circle and it was fabulous. The properties are gorgeous (and sexy) similar the W. I enjoyed at least (2) new hotel stays (Miami and LA) and it was a grand stay in beautiful room. I miss it but Im now Hyatt (Diamond) loyal. There are no Kimptons in the GA/SC area anyway.

  2. I have Platinum with Hyatt (love the lounge benefit) and Gold with Marriot (free breakfasts abroad are incredible), but WOW does Inner Circle exceed them both. I have paid stays at 6 different properties with all but one upgrading me to a suite. The amenities: a bottle of my preferred wine, salumi with fruit, lemon Perrier, and cheesecake all await me when I get back at the end of my first day. I’ve had welcome collages made for me (collages people!), a makeshift red carpet with fairy lights and more upon arrival. I’ve stayed for free at 5 of their new properties with a $50 dining credit (honestly they’re losing money with me), with my 6th coming up at The Brice in Savannah. The personal touch is unmatched in my opinion and their ‘signature scent” (the scent they pump through) is so subtle and delicious, it just makes everything feel clean. Best boutique hotel chain bar none. Best of all? I did it with a status match. (Platinum Hyatt).

  3. I heard great things about Kimpton this weekend while attending the First2Board Seattle Sessions, so I’m working to get a status match and use that to have a great weekend in NYC this weekend. I’ve actually booked 4 different stays at their 4 NYC properties so that I can get closer to earning those free nights! I look forward to sharing my thoughts after my trip.
