We recently took a trip and stayed at a Marriott Autograph Collection. We checked in with Toddler and Baby Weekly Flyer and we were automatically upgraded to a corner suite. Hooray! Only problem was that when we went to give our kids a bath after a day of sweaty travel, we only had a shower. It was a large, nice shower that’s for sure but, neither or our kids like showers, yet.
How To Bathe Baby In Hotel With No Tub
So, the first night we sponged them down and utilized the sink but, Toddler Weekly Flyer definitely didn’t fit in the sink and definitely needed to have hair shampooed while we were there for the 4 days.
So, Mrs. Weekly Flyer suggested that we go to Target and pick up a cheap plastic baby tub (with all intensions of leaving it behind) to use while we were there. But, what we found ended up being so much better! She’s ended up grabbing the Munchkin White Hot® Inflatable Duck Safety Baby Bath Tub because it was less expensive then the plastic tubs ($12.99) and had the potential to deflate and take home, possibly.
This little duck tub definitely saved the day, or the weekend. Certainly we could have showered them kicking and screaming but, how unpleasant. They loved getting in the duck tub and we easily dried it (it has a suction cup to hang to dry), deflated it and brought that thing home for next time!
Honestly, I had read the reviews of the hotel and knew that many of the rooms didn’t have tubs. So, next time, I’ll just pack the duck!
Bottom Line
As frequent travelers, we are always having to come up with creative solutions to make travel easier and work better for our family. Whether you are traveling alone or with your family, hotel stays can be a challenge when you don’t have all the amenities of home.
