***Update: After receiving such negative feedback on this proposed policy, Delta has decided they will be allowing complimentary Medallion upgrades to Delta One. See full details in Delta Medallions Now Eligible for Upgrades to Delta One Business Class***
Delta currently operates their Delta One Business Class on transcontinental routes between New York (JFK) to Los Angeles and San Francisco with a mixture of Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft. Delta has since added transcontinental business class between Los Angeles and Washington D.C. (DCA) and Boston to San Francisco.
Due to the success of their current transcontinental business class routes as well as to remain competitive on their transcontinental routes out of New York, Delta will be adding some new ones starting next year.
We can expect to see New York (JFK) to Seattle (SEA) return to a Delta One business class route and New York (JFK) to San Diego start on April 1, 2018. Then, New York (JFK) to Las Vegas will also become a premium Delta One business class route starting on May 1, 2018.
With these upgrades, Medallion members will no longer receive complimentary upgrades between New York (JFK) to Seattle/San Diego/Las Vegas once implemented. If you do find yourself in coach, remember Delta does offer complimentary Main Cabin Meals on long-haul domestic flights.
Additionally, Delta will also convert one daily flight on their Los Angeles to Boston to a Delta One business class route, while the other will remain operated by a Boeing 737-800, beginning on April 1, 2018.
As a reminder, all Delta One business class passengers receive SkyClub access.
Bottom Line
If you’re wondering why Delta is making these changes, I think it’s safe to look to JetBlue with their JetBlue Mint business class product which is being rolled out to more routes from New York (JFK) including to Las Vegas, San Deigo, and Seattle as well, meaning these new routes are a direct response to JetBlue
For Medallion members, these changes aren’t ones you’re gonna be too pleased about, since this means you’ll now find yourself in Comfort + on these routes, once they switch over to Delta One.

It would be great for both daring and more conservative
forms of lingerie. You will need to visit almost all of the lingerie shops with your favorite mall or check the different websites
of numerous online retailers. This doesn’t imply expensive, but really cheap lingerie is
uncomfortable, scratchy, unflattering, and infrequently down right tacky.
