Delta announced they would be launching new non-stop service between Seattle and several new cities including Washington-Dulles, Kansas City, and Indianapolis, as they continue to grow their service here.

New year-round destinations include:

• Daily service to Washington-Dulles on a Boeing 737-800 beginning June 8, 2018.
• Daily service to Kansas City on a Embraer 175 beginning June 8, 2018.
• Daily service to Indianapolis on a Airbus A319 beginning June 18, 2018.

Delta adds frequencies and larger aircraft to existing routes

Based on more demand from Seattle customers, Delta will launch additional flights to Las Vegas, New York-JFK, Orlando and Medford during spring/summer 2018 and will expand its summer seasonal service to Cincinnati to year-round. Additionally, Delta will offer seasonal weekend service to New Orleans from Feb. 10 through March 31.

The airline will also use larger aircraft to operate several existing routes, including Austin, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, Phoenix and San Diego.

With this increase, Delta will operate 174 flights to 54 cities this summer as the airline continues to increase their Seattle service. They’ll be offering 6 daily flights to/from New York (JFK), with 2 of them offering Delta One Business class.

Delta is trying to compete head to head with Alaska Airlines on their home turf, so it’s no surprise to hear about this latest expansion.

Delta uses Seattle as their Asian gateway city, so many of these new flights will allow for seamless connections to Hong Kong, Seoul–Incheon, Shanghai–Pudong and Tokyo–Narita.
