One of my favorite travel perks is having access to the American Express Centurion Lounges which are operated by American Express. And it is great news when Amex decides to add a new lounge for cardholders to benefit from! Up next, JFK!

Both cardholders of the Platinum Card® from American Express, and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express OPEN are able to access the lounge and can bring in two guests with them each time.

Super Exciting News! A New Centurion Lounge Announced

American Express is turning to New York’s JFK Airport for the newest of its luxe Centurion Lounge airport clubs.

The two-level, 15,000-square-foot lounge will be located in JFK’s Terminal 4 and is expected to open “by early 2019,” American Express will announce Tuesday.

Centurion Lounges by American Express are my favorite type of lounge within the collection. Locations include Las Vegas, Dallas, New York (LGA), San Francisco, Miami, Seattle, and Houston, with Hong Kong and Philadelphia both open now. As a cardholder, you receive access for yourself and up to two guests traveling with you.

Traveling can be a lot more fun if you have a fantastic lounge to hang out in with free food and beverage. I think that the Centurion Lounges are amazing and they keep adding more! If you want to gain access to them this year, consider picking up the Platinum Card® from American Express, or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express OPEN.
