I will earn 3,000 US Airways miles with every car rental of 3 days or more just by adding a coupon code to my reservation. This part of the points and miles game is so easy. It is a basic step that all mileage earners should take, find a car rental promotion code that works for you and add it to your car rental reservations.
How To Book
- Book your car rental at Avis.com
- Apply coupon code MUAA044 to your reservation at the time of booking
- Add your US Airways Dividend Miles number at time of booking

I think this particular coupon needs a corresponding USAir AWD to work which means you can not use corporate or discount AWD’s.
The Evan! Hot List your reference is dated Jan 1, 11, 7:20 am. Those promos are still valid?
Hi iKonos- I’ve tried it an it works. I book using AWD and then add coupon code to reservation at Avis.com. Some AWD numbers prohibit FF points being earned, so YMMV.

Did you know you can get 3 Ultimate Rewards point per dollar by going to the Avis website via the UR Shopping Mall?
Budget, Enterprise, Avis, and Thrifty are all available for bonus points, as are Travelocity, Hotwire, and Priceline.
Never book without checking that amazing Chase UR portal!!!

Can you check / explain _ I was trying to book a car at Honolulu for a December rental

This reservation was made through the UR Portal and in Hawaii. We need a little more information to determine why the coupon said it would no longer work. 1) Was the reservation for 3 days? 2) Is Honolulu a participating airport location?
The coupon has indeed been extended through March 31, 2012.

One thought is to (1) make the reservation through the portal without using the promotion code (2) Get your confirmation number and go to avis.com then (3) update your reservation at avis.com with the promotion code. Try that and let us know if it worked.

I booked a normal reservation through avis and used the coupon with no problem. Must be an issue with booking through UR portal since you would earn those points. If anyone has success otherwise please report back.
