Excellent, nice to see coverage on rental cars. So many of us spend a ton on rental cars but there is little coverage of these companies and their programs.
The 3,000 points bonus from USAgony is compelling, but if I rent 15 times with National, I can get 3 free rental days – 7 free days during One, Two, Free – and have a better selection of vehicles than with Avis.
Not to mention greater flexibility on one-way rentals, etc.

Hi Erndog – National has a great thing going with that promotion. The Avis promotion works for those (i.e. business travelers) that can’t rent but from one of two or so car rental companies.
Hertz has a similar Small Business Program (BAP) that imo has more value, especially if you rent cars in NYC.
With Hertz’s BAP, you earn 1 credit per day, not per rental.
Hertz’s BAP gives you the same 1 free day after 15 credits. However, Hertz often runs double credit promos. Consequently, a free day can be earned twice as fast.
Finally, Hertz BAP free day certs can be used for Manhattan and/ or non- US
