Owning a business or being a self proprietor has its own set of benefits. Not only are you working for yourself instead of “the man” but airline, hotel and car rental companies have loyalty programs tailored specifically for businesses. The Avis Corporate Award’s program has a special program for small and mid sized businesses. Their program gives special benefits including a free rental day with every 15 rentals. It’s easy to sign up and start earning.

Avis and US Airways are running a promotion where you can earn 3,000 US Airways miles with every 3 day Avis rental.

  1. The 3,000 points bonus from USAgony is compelling, but if I rent 15 times with National, I can get 3 free rental days – 7 free days during One, Two, Free – and have a better selection of vehicles than with Avis.

Not to mention greater flexibility on one-way rentals, etc.

  2. Hi Rapid – Thanks. I too spend alot of time in a rental car.

Hi Erndog – National has a great thing going with that promotion. The Avis promotion works for those (i.e. business travelers) that can’t rent but from one of two or so car rental companies.

  3. Hertz has a similar Small Business Program (BAP) that imo has more value, especially if you rent cars in NYC.

With Hertz’s BAP, you earn 1 credit per day, not per rental.

Hertz’s BAP gives you the same 1 free day after 15 credits. However, Hertz often runs double credit promos. Consequently, a free day can be earned twice as fast.

Finally, Hertz BAP free day certs can be used for Manhattan and/ or non- US

  4. This is a great offer. I will let my husband check this out. Thanks for sharing this post. I know he will be interested with the 3,000 miles free.
