I’ve confirmed with my sources that the huge bonus Avios points offer from British Airways expired on July 17th. In the past, we’ve shared how powerful Avios points can be with both short and long haul flights. When you can get a one-way ticket for as little as 4,500 Avios points, it is hard not to jump on an offer that gives enough points for over 22 short haul one-way tickets.

When you add the ability to have multiple members linked in your family account, it is even more powerful because you’ll have access to that many more points to book free award tickets.

Bottom Line

The offer has been confirmed to expire on June 7th. We don’t know what the offer will be after June 7th, but the expiration date even shows June 7th on the official Chase credit card offer link.

In my next post, I’ll share my journey up to NY and how I flew for only 7,500 Avios points one-way.
