Nothing like a Bloody Mary to take the troubles of the day away. Yesterday, the Weekly Flyer household had a little emergency. Our power went out and there was no fix in the near future. For those with little babies, you know this isn’t a great situation to find yourself in.
It had been raining for the greater part of 18 hours and a few giant trees finally gave way.
The problem wasn’t just that the trees fell down the road, but rather that they fell down and took out two power line poles with them. So effectively, the Weekly Flyer Family needed a new home for a few days until the power could be restored. That’s where the St Regis on West Paces Ferry came into play.
They took a reservation over the phone and within 30 minutes the family was all set up, just like home. The crib was delivered along with a baby amenity kit. How awesome is that?
This St Regis has the usual Champagne saber event in the evening but also has another special liquid libation of historical significance, the West Paces Mary.
West Paces Mary
- Bloody Mary Mix
- Vodka
- Pickled Okra
- Celery
- Garnished with 2 olives
Bottom Line
The St Regis Bloody Mary is a classic. Great in the evening with a burger and fries as well.
The St Regis on West Paces Ferry is quite nice. Baby Weekly Flyer felt right at home and might have to change names to St Regis baby:)
