British Airways is currently upgrading their First Class product, so I was a bit surprised when I boarded the 777 and found this seat waiting for me. Score! The new British Airways First Class seats.

The window covers are a cool feature. The window blinds cover two windows and will go up and down with a press of a button. There is a ton of space and plenty of storage.

The cabin is in a 1-2-1 configuration with 14 First Class seats but feels very spacious.

Will have a more detailed review at a later date but wanted to share quick first impressions.

  1. @NYBanker: All 777’s and all “Hi-J” 744’s (72 Club World seat configuration) have new first but half (12 out of the 25) of the “mid-J” (52 ClubWorld seat configuration 744s still have Old First and it appears that BA has no intention of upgrading them.
