The Atlanta Sky Deck is open for business and the views are great. This picture was snapped on the Sky Deck in Atlanta’s F Terminal Sky Club on a clear evening. I had speculated during my sneak peek back in May that a bar was going to be placed at the table top to the right. But I was wrong. That area is a designated high top bar as you can see in the picture below.
Still, does it get any better than this for an outdoor terrace at an airport?

While these are nice ideas, between JFK and ATL, factoring in 90+ degree days, sub-55 degree days, rainy days and snowy days, will these be usable 20% of the days of the year?
@NYBanker – With your logic no restaurant or bar in those cities would attempt similar. Enjoy it.
Hi NYBanker – I agree, they are great ideas. And I would bet that these will be used much more than 73 days out of the year.
Yes, they will be used year around.
I loved checking out the Sky Deck at JFK on opening day. I’d definitely like to get to Atlanta to see this one too.
I’ve wondered what Delta will do on extremely hot and sunny days. The small, red fabric coverings offer little protection from the elements.
From your photo it looks like the planes get closer to the Sky Deck in ATL.
