It seems the Points, Miles & Martinis signature cocktail napkins are showing up everywhere these days. They were recently spotted accompanying a couple of glasses of Tattinger champagne in the Lufthansa First Class Terminal in Frankfurt.
A glass of Tattinger is always a great excuse to pass through the First Class Terminal. I prefer the Tattinger Rose while Alex prefers Brut.

Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc des Blanc, served in QF First Class. A fresh and smooth palate with rich finish makes it taste almost as good at 30k feet as it does on the gound!
2009 Veuve Clicquot Rose in TG F FRA-BKK last year. Wonderful start to the flight, unique as I cannot remember being served the same on board a flight any other time. Of course, the Dom Perignon was flowing freely, but the Veuve Rose was a memorable treat.
We went BKK-FRA and back on Thai last month. 2003 Dom Perignon both ways. Both ways we were also the only travelers drinking it. And the A380.
Oh, I want to go back….
Commander beat me to it! Had the same experience on Thai, and I was the only one drinking the Dom 2003. They kept coming back to refill my glass, over the 7 hour flight I finished the bottle, because I hated for it to be wasted!
Dom Perignon on emirates a380
Krug on Cathay Pacific First SFO-HKG. I think I finished the whole bottle!
I thought I would be unique as the only reader who has had dom perignon in an airport, but oh was I mistaken!
I also enjoy the (slightly) less expensive Duval Leroy they used to serve in flight. Yum!
Dom P in the Sky Club… Had to use up the last of my Amex Plat fee reimbursement!
Krug YVR-HKG. Nice!
Jacquart Brut Mosaique on Delta just a few weeks ago.
It was my only champagne so far in an airport and/or on board a plane. Hence, an easy one to designate a favorite 😉
2003 Dom P on SQ. It was very memorable!
