Bottom Line
I wouldn’t consider this a mattress run quality promotion, but I do believe this creates a good opportunity to earn some free nights in a Marriott hotel category 1-5. I’ll likely move any SPG stays over to Marriott for this promotion since SPG is only offering double points for the fall.

“We’re sorry, but there was an error in directing you to this promotion.”
[sad trombone]
Yes, I received the same error message…
Hi Adam / Ed – I’ve had no problem accessing the promotion page from my end.
My offer is for 50k points after 25 stays (35k after 20, 15k after 5 more. I’m platinum and this was consistent with my current promotion of 45k after 25 stays.
Are we required to book through Marriott’s website?
Tied to status, maybe?
I just saw this article, created an account logged into it and got the promotion mentioned above.
Strange. I am Marriott Gold, but as I said…no luck…
Hi Steve – No, but you are required to book a qualifying rate.
Hi Mitch – Essentially 2k per “stay”. Not as good IMO, unless you do not need the nights now.
I agree not as good when you do the math for using the points for nights at a Marriot…but I don’t need the nights/prefer to use points for higher categories and travel packages. It’s a good chunk towards a nice travel package which I think is the best value in the long run because it lets me transfer 120,000 points to United 1:1 (and with a little bonus now too thanks to the partnership).
Hi Ed – I think the promotions are definitely targeted, in terms of which promotion each member gets. Think it is based on a number of factors including status, stay pattern, lack of stay pattern, etc.
Okay, … weird … now apparently I’m already registered. Oy.
