The new Star Alliance lounge at Los Angeles will open on September 25, 2013. The lounge was developed and will be managed by New Zealand. I must say, they’ve done a good job developing it by the looks of the pictures.
The new lounge will welcome passengers in First, Business and Star Alliance Gold Card that depart on a Star Alliance member airline from the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT).
The 18,000 square foot space can accommodate about 400 Business Class and Star Alliance Gold passengers.
They’ve opened up the outside with a spacious outdoor terrace.
Next time you are in the Los Angeles airport don’t forget to get out your Star Gold cards and check this place out!

Nice. I wonder who sits in the Eames chair in the first photo.
Is the lounge bifurcated? Or is it just one lounge for all?
Wow- Giving the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse a run for their money.
I was wondering who the girl is in the 3rd pic, but looks like by the 5th pic she has met up with the guy from the end of the bar.
Um, models…staged publicity shots…you’ve got no chance 😉
Colleen, the lounge is bifurcated though I noticed that the first class section was very small. Managed to take some photos here… http://maphappy.org/2013/09/inside-star-alliances-newest-lounge-lax/
