Uber this just out an email to their customers about a new service they are launching for the Hoidays called Uber Sleigh, where you can donate toys for charity with a toy drive at your office. To schedule a toy drive pick-up head to this site.
The email I got said:
Tis the season in NYC. Fifth Avenue is bustling, the Rockefeller Center lights are ablaze, and the UberTREEs are delivered. Bringing the holiday spirit to your homes and offices was a delight, but the most important part is yet to come.
This year, join us in giving back to our community and host a toy drive in your office. We’ll come by with an UberSLEIGH full of festive surprises,and collect donations from the first 100 offices that pledge to contribute 20 or more toys.
How It Works:
- Fill out this form by 5:00pm on Tuesday December 17th. Hurry! Spots will fill up quickly.
- Spread the word with your team and please make sure the items are age-appropriate (more info below).
- We will get in touch to schedule a pickup next week.
- On pick-up day, the UberSLEIGH and our team of elves will land at your office with plenty of treats to thank you for participating!
What You Can Donate:
Room to Grow accepts unwrapped toys and baby items in new or excellent condition, that are appropriate for children ages newborn to three years old. For hygiene reasons, stuffed animals and used fabric toys are not accepted. New fabric toys are fine. You can see a full list of approved items here.
