I’m currently staying at the Andaz Maui at Wailea, and this property reconfirmed that my favorite Hyatt Diamond benefit is the complimentary breakfast.
The buffet breakfast here runs for $45 each, but as Hyatt Diamond members you receive up to 4 complimentary full breakfast buffets, meaning you could save $180 per day.
I just finished breakfast this morning and here are some pictures from the open kitchen buffet they have. Expect a full hotel review to come.

The buffet kept going so I wasn’t able to take pictures of all the entire spread, but it was quite extensive. Being a Hyatt Diamond member, has its benefits, but I think the best is being able to get close to a $200 breakfast comped each morning.

Can you explain “up to 4” part? Doesn’t a typical booking assume double occupancy and therefore, the breakfast benefit is extended to only 2 people? Or are you saying you paid for the extra 3rd and 4th person in occupancy rate, and therefore, they also receive the free breakfast.
Oooh, I want to say full breakfast is my fav also but I think the suite upgrades is 1st and breakfast is a close 2nd. Im so crazy in love with both benefits. I can’t see losing Diamond anytime soon #spoiled

Only slightly better than free breakfast and at those that allow it room service breakfast, I would put the suite upgrades. Going from the My Elite rate to a suite at this property or others like it “saves” thousands.
And the older I get the more likely I was to buy a suite anyway, so it is becoming actual savings.
Is there anyway to get Diamond Status with credit card spend? I have Hilton Diamond status and I love it.
Same question as above: how does breakfast for 4 work if there are only 2 in the room? I will have this issue when bringing parents: 2nd room for them, I am diamond & they aren’t. Seems like I could just put their breakfast on my room? Can anyone chime in? Yes I know it’s supposedly for registered guests & also property a specific, but can anyone chime in with real-life examples here?
