Avid miles and points collectors know that the award booking process can vary from a simple domestic flight to an overly complicated and time consuming international partner award in a premium cabin.
When you stack on top things like open-jaws, stop-overs code-share partners, and free one-ways, it can get almost impossible for the average person to get the most value out of an award ticket.
It can take hours if you don’t know what you are doing, which is why there are many companies that will book complex award tickets for you. While, I would love to do this, I personally just don’t have the time so I’m writing about a great service that does.
I wanted to give a shoutout to Robert Karp of Karp Enterprises. Robert is only a 16-year old high school junior who runs much more than an award booking service which was featured on Bloomberg TV yesterday.
His business, Karp Enterprsies specializes in helping client maximize their miles and points. He offers a portfolio management service where he designs strategies and personal recommendations for clients to meet their travel goals while saving money and elevating their travel experience.
He also offers award booking services and exclusive luxury travel services through his travel agency partner through its affiliation with nine luxury travel consortia.
For award bookings, prices start at $50 for a domestic award ticket or $125 for a month portfolio management package. You can check out his website here or take a look at his Bloomberg Interview.
Bottom Line
Sometimes it can make sense to use an award booking service to maximize the most out of your miles and points. Have you ever used an award booking service?
