When I see an expensive hotel price for 1 night I usually joke that it’s like a mortgage payment. But the price tag on this suite is like a car purchase.

The 4,300-square-foot Ty Warner Penthouse on the 52nd floor of the Four Seasons New York goes for $45,000 a night!

I’ve stayed in what I consider some expensive hotels in the past, like the Ocean Club in the Bahamas, the Park Hyatt Paris, or the Cap Juluca on Anguilla, but nothing like this.

  1. I spent a week in the Presidential Suite at the Hyatt Waikiki Beach, but was upgraded by the VIP Manager. The rack rate on the room is $4500 per night. The best part is I only paid $149 per night plus a Diamond Certificate.
