I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’ve been getting a bunch of awesome Uber drivers lately in New York City.
For instance, I had a driver today, who had a fully stocked charging station in the back of his car for iPhone chargers for both the older and newer models which was great!
I’ve written about how Delta and Uber have teamed up to provide charging ports in Uber cars, but the one thing they are missing is the cords. I don’t normally travel with my iPhone charging cable, so I am unable to take advantage of these, but this driver below hit it spot on!
This car was completely tricked out when it came to charging devices.
This car even had some candy in the backseat!

My very first Uber ride ever had an iPad in the back and a working mobile hot spot.
I love this post!! Yes, I love that Uber drivers are getting more creative in order to stand out. Actually, I learned from my Uber driver that they need to maintain a 4.3 star or above rating in order to be in good standing. He also gave me a 33 oz bottle of cold poland spring. Of course, I had to down that before security….
I just heard that my state, Maryland, just ruled that Uber drivers must all be registered and licensed (and obviously then taxed) like taxis, limo, or any other transportation companies? Sad..
