On a recent trip to Las Vegas, we decided to try out the Caesar’s Palace on the strip. We decided on this hotel not because it was the largest suite on the strip, we’d tried that out at the Palazzo. Nor did we chose it because it was our favorite property on the strip, that belongs to the Encore which we’ve reviewed in the past.
We chose the Caesar’s Palace because of the central location and the recent renovation of some of their tower rooms.
We landed in the morning. Fresh off a Delta First class flight with a version of their now famous First class Omelette.
We didn’t pull the $20 trick at check-in but didn’t need to. We were offered an upgrade to a Tower Room overlooking the pool.
The room had a huge entrance way.
The room had two bathrooms that were connected by a central shower, a first for me but it worked.
The bedroom was recently renovated with a nice light color scheme. I actually felt looking over the pool was a much better option than the noisy strip. The pool basically shuts down in the evening so there is little noise and lights coming through the windows.
Bottom Line
Overall we were very happy with our selection of the Caesar’s Palace for our short stay in Vegas. We tried out the best buffet in Vegas and then hopped back on another Delta First class flight back home. Will be back in a few weeks but this time at another hotel.
What’s your favorite hotel on the strip?
