Free Delta Silver Medallion Status for New Hires

Delta has a special offer for new hires of a particular consulting firm where they earn Delta Silver Medallion status after just one qualifying flight.

Here’s the detail of this offer:

Register by September 30, 2015, then book and fly one qualifying flight within six months using PwC’s corporate ticket designator XX7G2 to enjoy six months of complimentary Silver Medallion status, and all the perks that go with it, like:

  • Waived baggage fees
  • Priority Boarding
  • Unlimited Complimentary Upgrades
  • Discounted Economy Comfort upgrades

And, while you’re enjoying the benefits of Silver Medallion status, you’ll also receive:

  • 5,000 bonus miles for your first flight, plus an additional 2,500 bonus miles for each of your next four subsequent flights
  • 1,000 bonus miles for your first SkyMiles partner car rental or hotel stay associated with your SkyMiles account, and 500 bonus miles for each of your next five subsequent car rentals or hotel stays

Medallion Level Requirements
Silver 12,500 MQMs** or 15 MQSs
Gold 25,000 MQMs or 30 MQSs
Platinum 37,500 MQMs or 50 MQSs

Bottom Line

This offer is targeted for PwC employees, but perhaps other companies have similar promotions with Delta, so it can’t hurt checking if you work for another large company.
