Bottom Line

The smaller variation is to collect 5 stars and earn 10 bonus stars, however if you are lucky enough to have gotten this email, I would go for the bigger offer and try and get the 20 stars.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Maybe I’m missing something, but all this focus on earning bonus Sbux stars seems like a waste of everyone’s time here. This one is better than most, but even it will yield less than 2 free drinks after 7 purchases. I’m pretty good at using my freebies for some of the more expensive menu options at Sbux, but even so — we’re talking about a bonus of 5 or 6 bucks. Isn’t that small potatoes for folks who generally talk about thousands of miles, $20 Amex Sync deals, and so on?

Is there some hidden way to look at Sbux stars, or some way to extract great value from them? I’d love to know what I am missing.

  2. It’s NOT an easy way to get stars if you never get the email in the first place. PLEASE begin all posts of this nature with the word “Targeted” in the headline. I have NEVER gotten any of these offers.

  3. I received the email, made 8 purchases during the time I was supposed to and never received the email promised by 11/11 with my code to redeem the 20 bonus stars. This is the first time Starbucks has fell short on an offering like this for me and I am very disappointed. I reached out the customer care to let them know but have yet to hear back.
