British Airways and Accor Hotels have teamed up to offer 2,500 bonus Avios Points per stay! The promotion is only limited to a huge maximum of earning the bonus 80 times.  The promotion period is similar to other Avios bonus point promotion offers going on from October 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. But unlike others, this has a better potential, earning 2,500 bonus points per stay (even 1 night stay) is like earnings more than 1/2 of the way to the lowest redemption level of 4,500 Avios points for a one-way short haul flight. Using the 4,500 Avios Point redemption on American Airlines is my favorite way to maximize value when using my Avios Points.

General Le Club Accorhotels terms and conditions apply to the “Up to 200,000 Avios†offer.

This offer is valid for a stay for bookings made between 1 October 2014 for stays from 1 October 2014 and 31 December 2014 (“Promotional Periodâ€) in one of the participating hotels of the Le Club Accorhotels program (“Participating Propertiesâ€) only

The offer is limited to 80 eligible stays and credits per member. An Eligible booking rate includes all public, corporate and promotional rates, but NOT the following rates: room rates for business or leisure group reservations where the rooms are booked as part of a conference or an organised trip on a group account or settled globally (except Meeting Planner promotional offers); the “Partner Rates†tariff; room rates for crew (airline crew, shipping or other); the Accor employees’ rate and the rate for employees of partner companies and providers to the Accor Group; and tour operators rates.

No min stay. You must book your stay online at accorhotels.com and participating brand websites, or via the Accor Call Center to benefit from this offer.

A stay is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same Participating Property i.e. from check-in to check-out irrespective of the length of stay.

For the purpose of this offer, a stay is one (1) reservation made by an Eligible Participant for one or more standard guest rooms, per Eligible Participant, based on double occupancy during the Promotional Period. For the avoidance of doubt, a reservation made for more than one room will therefore be considered as only one (1) stay.

Bottom Line

The best part about this promotion is that it is virtually unlimited to a maximum of 80 stays or 200,000 Avios Points. Plus, with each stay you’ll get 1/2 of the way to a one-way short haul flight. So if you were considering booking a stay with Accor, consider crediting your points to Avios Points if you were looking to add to your Avios balance.

If you are looking for extra Avios Points, consider the British Airways Visa Signature® Card which comes with bonus miles after meeting minimum spending.
