The video below appears to be a typical 777 Business Class configuration of 2-3-2 seating common on some carriers. The infected person is sitting in the middle seat and sneezes. Take a look at how far the germs “spread” according to the simulation.

Appears the immediate row and row behind are at highest risk of infection. This makes me all the more appreciative when people who are sick wear a mask during longer flights, or at least cover their mouth or nose when coughing or sneezing.
