Hyatt just announced their award chart for 2015 changes that will be effective January 22, 2015. It looks like several interesting hotels will go down in category, which is exciting!

Overall the changes seem positive with only a couple pimp hotels that are going up in category. Here I will highlight the 8 that standout to me.

Bottom Line

If you are looking to make a points redemption reservation at one of the hotels that is going up in category; you should really do it before January 22nd so that you can save on points! If you are planning on making a reservation at one of the hotels that is going down in category; go ahead and make your reservation now but, make sure to call after January 22nd and change the reservation to get the lower category redemption.
