Delta is currently offering an award fare sale for Medallion members and Delta SkyMiles credit cardholders for flights between the United States to the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, Northern South America, and Southern South America.
I just received the following email from Delta:

Bottom Line
If you’re planning an upcoming travel and want to use your SkyMiles, this is a way to book some awards at a discount. Similar to the award sales in the past, after the first few days, this will be opened up to all SkyMiles members.
