Uber is a service that enables you to book a car service with the tap of your finger on your smartphone or mobile device. Depending on which of the 200 cities that you are in, you can also get different levels of car service ranging from UberX, UberBlack, or UberSUV. If you haven’t joined Uber yet, you can Register With Uber To Get Your First Ride Free up to $20.

However, Uber is going to start increasing their fees for UberBlack service between both JFK/Newark and Manhattan to $100 now.

Note: Standard fares are not changing. For more info on our rates, including these updated prices, visit their NYC city page here.

Bottom Line

The prices for UberX are not increasing, and the rates to/from LaGuardia are still distance/time based pricing so perhaps that could be a better option if you’re looking to save some money.
