An Instagram user who goes by caro gets the ‘eagle eye’ award for being one of the first people to find Havana labeled on United Airlines route map in the January edition of Hemispheres – the United Airlines inflight magazine.

The photo was originally posted on Tuesday with the text, “Change we can believe in: @united has added Havana to its route map; the airline confirmed to me via Twitter that the January issue of its Hemispheres in-flight magazine is the destination’s first appearance. No, it isn’t saying anything about routes yet.”

Although there are not any regularly scheduled United flights from the US to Cuba yet, Havana is designated as a city served by “select airline partners.” This is leading to speculation that Havana could be served thru United’s Star Alliance partner Air Canada which already flies the Toronto-Havana route.
