One thing I like about Hyatt Gold Passport is how well they treat their top tier Diamond Status Members. If you’ve been Diamond before you know how the confirmed upgrade certificates, space available upgrades, club lounge access, bonus points and of course the complimentary breakfast can really enhance your stay. If you haven’t experienced Hyatt’s Diamond status, you can always partake in the Hyatt Diamond Status challenge to get their top tier status quicker.

I did just that and am now back up to Diamond status through this year. It was a neccessary bridge until I could earn my Diamond status through the following year.

Surprise In My Hyatt Diamond Status Package

I recently re-qualified and was quite surprised when I received my Hyatt Diamond Status Package.

It turns out, as most of you may already know, the new package for Diamond status includes a bonus.

Surprise In My Hyatt Diamond Status Package

I received two complimentary United Club Lounge passes. Each of the passes are good for a one time use.

Bottom Line

Earning Hyatt Diamond Status with Hyatt has its perks. I find this one of the best hotel status levels to attain year after year. And those perks just got a little more sweet given the addition of the United Club Lounge passes.

Only problem is who flys United anymore? The last time I was in a United Club Lounge had to be back in 2010 and a lot has changed. What’s been your most recent experience in a United Club Lounge and are these passes even worth getting excited over?

  1. Two United lounge passes? I would be happier if they gave me a free M&M candy instead.

  2. You do not need to be flying united to use a club pass. Ive used one when flying Southwest.
