Delta has matched a sale which Emirates has had in the past, where you can head from New York to Milan for $504 roundtrip, but you must book for two people to get this price. This deal is valid for travel for most of October 2015, November 2015, December 2015, January 2016, February 2016, and March 2016.
The past week we’ve seen some other great deals including $40 American Airlines Flights from LAX, ORD, LGA, Miami-Chicago for $36 and Philadelphia and Las Vegas for $36 each-way, so you might want to check those out.
New York to Milan on Delta for $1,008 for two people ($504 each):
You can search for these cheap flights on Orbitz or on the Delta’s site, which is available primarily in September, those some routes are offering sales in October and November as well.
Bottom Line:
Keep in mind, this deal is only available when booking for two people to get the $504 price, if you search for one person, you won’t be able to book at this discounted price.
This is a great deal if you’re looking for flights between the United States and Europe, even if Milan isn’t your intended final destination, since you could add on some cheap flights within Europe on RyanAir, EasyJet or even redeem British Airways Avios. With a total fare of $504 including taxes and fees per person, it’s really hard to beat this.
Not the best mileage run opportunity, but as a SkyMiles member you’d earn 7990 Medallion Qualifying Miles with these flights.

I like the upgrade choice of $1,703.50 for business in your graphic but then I saw the fine print that it’s each way per person. So $504+$504=$1008 (not bad) + $1703.50+$1703.50+$1703.50+$1703.50=$7822ish in Business. Not terrible but not great. I guess if you could upgrade with elite status it would be a great deal though.
Booked for late March. Will examine in detail tomorrow. Looks like $790-ish to Paris or over to MXP and back from CDG. Enough of a deal to get me thinking. Thanks for the inspiration.
