  1. does getting this certificate have anything to do with meeting the annual $10k spending threshold?

    I have zero spend on either card in the last year and yet I received two E-Certificates.

    The last stay was at their Country Inn & Suites, San Diego North in last summer on points.

    So it seems this has nothing to do with credit card spend or hotel stays. Check your US mail to see if you received anything!
