Either they started the deal up again or it never ended because this was the same price back when they came out a couple of months ago. I would expect the price to be even lower come next week. At least Amazon matches their own prices after the fact.
I got the 5+1 Fire 7″ package the day they launched due to the imminent approach of multiple grandchildren’s birthdays, rather than await the inevitable holiday pricing. On balance a good value for the average resulting price per tablet. And so inexpensive I was able to get the “free” as an extra media-consumption machine for myself.
