Offers for the Amex EveryDay® Preferred Credit Card from American Express, Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express, Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card and Delta Reserve® Credit Card are not available through this site. One of my favorite credit cards in my wallet is my Platinum Card from American Express, which I love for a variety of reasons which include American Express Centurion Lounge Access, Priority Pass Select, and Delta SkyClub Access and the annual $200 airline fee credit which is per calendar year.

The reason now is the best time to get this card is for the $200 airline fee credit since you’ll earn it in 2015 and in 2016 meaning you’ll be $400 in airline fee credits within the first 12 months with just one annual fee payment during that time.

  1. dont agree with this. 40k is the standard offer. and now is no better time to get the card than any other month of the year. what’s to stop me from getting the card in january 2016 and get the $200 air credit for 2016 and 2017???? it’s always 2 years worth of air credit one would get, regardless of what month you apply.

  2. I prefer to use the $200 air credit for Amazon gift cards via the mileage plus X application. Best hack ever.
