SPG members can now convert their Starpoints into Aegean Miles+Bonus award miles. In addition, SPG members will be given an extra 5,000 miles for every 20,000 Starpoints converted to Aegean Miles+Bonus award miles.

With 11 properties in Greece under The Luxury Collection, Westin and Sheraton brands, Starwood Hotels & Resorts has the largest presence in the market for an international hotel group. If you are looking to rack up some Starpoints, consider earning them with the Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express and the Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Credit Card from American Express.

Bottom Line

Of course there is the impending Marriott – SPG merger, but that won’t be for a while, so for now we are safe to keep racking up Starpoints. The best thing about SPG is that we can always transfer our points into airline miles with the 25% bonus if we don’t like how the merger shakes out.
