Via ThePointsGuy, American Airlines is sending out emails and/or mail to some AAdvantage members to earn Gold or Platinum elite status through May 31, 2016.  Which is pretty sweet if you are targeted for this promotion. They provide a promotion code that you need to use to sign up for the offer by February 22, 2016. Make sure you search through your inbox and your mail to see if you also received one of these offers.
