Comments

  1. For Carnival, make a booking for waaay in the future. When you decide which cruise you want, TRANSFER the original booking to your new booking.

  2. Nancy: Nice work-around, love it.

Are there any fees? I have no cruise experience so pardon my rookie-questions. It seems that’s just as good as making a gift card purchase. I’d just also add that you should use your best AmEx card that offers travel protection in the event any problems occur.

30% + wait for the next cruise disaster and everyone to freak out = buying opportunity.

  3. Dave – do not book Early Saver fare. There is a $50 pp non-refundable fee for cancellations or rebooking.
