Starwood has launched their latest promotion, where SPG members can earn a free night stay, after three stays with their newest brand, Design Hotels, now through May 16,2016.

We recently wrote about the New Ways To Earn and Redeem SPG Points With Design Hotels, so I’m glad to see Starwood has now launched a promotion for this brand as well.

Stay three nights at Design Hotels booked through SPG and earn a Free Night Award good at any Category 1–5 Starwood hotel or resort worldwide through May 31, 2016. Register by May 16, 2016, and explore our newest brand.

Terms and Conditions:

Eligible member must register by May 16, 2016, 11:59 p.m. EDT. Members can earn one (1) Free Night Award to be used at participating Starwood hotels and resorts after they book and complete three (3) eligible nights at participating Design Hotelsâ„¢ between March 16 and May 31, 2016 (the “promotion period”). Members can earn this Award up to two (2) times for up to two (2) Free Night Awards. This promotion is not transferable. Bookings made prior to the promotion period are eligible, but only eligible stays consumed during the promotion period will earn the promotional Award. Eligible nights do not need to be consecutive. 

An eligible night is a stay with at least one (1) eligible paid night at any participating Design Hotels™ paying an eligible paid rate during the promotion period. An eligible rate is any rate that is eligible to earn Starpoints^® in the Starwood Preferred Guest^® program. Free Night Awards and Cash & Points Award nights are not eligible toward promotional free night earnings. A listing of SPG^®-participating hotels and resorts and a description of eligible stays and eligible rates can be found at spg.com under the program terms and conditions. Certain prepaid rooms where the booking is made through a third party (including but not limited to travelocity.com, expedia.com and booking.com) are not eligible rates and do not earn Starpoints or qualify toward promotional earnings. 

Design Hotelsâ„¢ Free Night Award will be credited to the member’s account within 2–4 weeks of the eligible stay posting to the member’s Starwood Preferred Guest account. Design HotelsTM Free Night Award can be redeemed for any participating Starwood hotel and resort Category 1–5 hotel for a standard room. Design Hotelsâ„¢ Free Night Award must be redeemed for stays consumed by September 30, 2016. Members should call SPG customer service and mention Award ID D3HFN1–5 to redeem. Award is not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or Starpoints. Unused Award will be forfeited. Design Hotelsâ„¢ Free Night Award stay(s) and night(s) will count toward elite earning qualification. Design Hotelsâ„¢ Free Night Award may be added to existing paid or Award stays. This promotion is not transferable and Free Night award may not be gifted. 

This promotion may be combined with other Starpoints or Free Night promotions in market during the same time; however, earnings are exclusive of each other.
